What Is a Skid Steer Front Loader?
A skid steer front loader is a compact, multi-functional construction machine. With its compact design and differential steering via the left‑ and right‑side drive wheels, it can pivot 360° in place, offering exceptional maneuverability in tight spaces. It can be quickly fitted with various attachments—such as buckets, breakers, fork frames, and sweepers—so that one machine can replace 3‑5 traditional pieces of construction equipment. It is widely used in construction sites, factory workshops, municipal engineering, agricultural farming, and more.
Based on the travel system, skid steer front loaders are divided into two types: wheeled mini skid steer and small track skid steer. Wheeled models offer higher travel speed (up to 12 km/h) and are suitable for hard surfaces and jobs that require frequent relocation. Track models have a larger ground contact area and greater traction, making them ideal for soft ground, muddy sites, and slope operations. Both types feature all‑wheel drive, hydrostatic transmission, and an enclosed cab for comfortable and safe operation.
YG offers four models of skid steer loaders – W45 and W65 are wheeled, T50 and T65 are tracked – with rated loads ranging from 700 to 1,050 kg, covering everything from light‑duty handling to medium‑load loading and unloading.
6 Advantages of the YG Skid Steer Front Loader
Superior Maneuverability – Works Effortlessly in Tight Spaces
The compact design (length without bucket: 2,170–2,527 mm; width: 1,422–1,805 mm) allows flexible operation in confined areas such as urban infrastructure sites, construction zones, and factory workshops. The minimum turning radius (without bucket) is 1,064 mm for both wheeled and tracked models, enabling zero‑radius pivoting – perfect for space‑restricted environments.
High Efficiency – One Machine, Multiple Uses
The all‑wheel drive system adapts to complex terrain, and the hydrostatic transmission ensures efficient power delivery. With rated power of 36.7–55 kW and hydraulic flow of 80–89 L/min, the machine can drive a wide variety of attachments effectively. One skid steer loader can replace loaders, forklifts, sweepers, breakers, and more, reducing equipment purchase and maintenance costs.
Intelligent Control – Easy Operation
Equipped with an electronic monitoring dashboard and a fault‑diagnosis system, it displays 12 key parameters in real time (engine speed, hydraulic oil temperature, fuel level, operating hours, etc.), allowing the operator to stay fully informed of the machine’s status. The cab is well‑sealed, with an optional air‑conditioning system, reducing noise and dust interference for improved comfort during long work shifts.
Powerful Dumping Capacity
Maximum dumping height ranges from 1,990 to 2,410 mm, with a dumping reach of 550–1,120 mm, making it easy to load materials into trucks or place them at designated locations. At maximum height, the bucket tilt angle reaches 95–100°, ensuring complete material discharge with minimal carry‑back.
Flexible Choice – Wheeled or Tracked
Wheeled mini skid steer (W45/W65): Faster travel speed, easy relocation, and less wear on hard surfaces – ideal for urban construction and indoor work.
Small track skid steer (T50/T65): Low ground pressure, strong traction, and excellent off‑road performance – suitable for muddy sites, farmland, and slope operations.
You can choose the travel system that best matches your working conditions to meet various job requirements.
Easy Maintenance – Low Operating Costs
Maintenance points are centrally arranged for quick daily inspections. The hydrostatic transmission has no clutch wear, and the hydraulic system features reliable sealing with low failure rates. Compared with traditional loaders, the skid steer loader has lower fuel consumption and maintenance costs, resulting in a shorter payback period.

Frequently Asked Questions about Skid Steer Front Loaders
Choose according to the working environment. For hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt) and jobs requiring frequent relocation, select a wheeled mini skid steer (W45/W65). For soft ground (soil, sand), muddy sites, or slope operations, choose a small track skid steer (T50/T65).
It can be fitted with dozens of attachments, including buckets, breakers, fork frames, sweepers, milling machines, log grapples, drills, and more. Thanks to the standard quick‑coupling system, attachments can be changed in just a few minutes – truly one machine for multiple tasks.
YG machines are equipped with fully enclosed cabs that offer excellent sealing. An optional air‑conditioning system and air filtration system are available, making them suitable for dusty and noisy working environments while protecting the operator’s health.
The maximum dumping height is 1,990–2,410 mm (depending on the model), with a dumping reach of 550–1,120 mm. This allows easy loading of materials into standard trucks or stacking at designated locations.
Rated power is 36.7–55 kW, and fuel tank capacity ranges from 50 to 90 L. Under normal operating conditions, fuel consumption is about 5–10 liters per hour (depending on load and working intensity), which is lower than that of traditional loaders.
Yes. The wheeled mini skid steer, with its compact design and small turning radius, is well suited for indoor spaces such as factory workshops and warehouses. Tracked models can also be used indoors, but care should be taken regarding ground pressure.

What Is a Mobile Spider Crane?
A mobile spider crane is a compact crawler lifting device, named for its four independently adjustable hydraulic outriggers that resemble spider legs. Its structure mainly consists of an undercarriage, a slewing platform, a telescopic boom, a hydraulic system, and a remote control system. The undercarriage uses rubber tracks, which exert extremely low ground pressure and will not damage paved surfaces. The four hydraulic outriggers can be extended and angled independently, ensuring stability even on sloping or uneven ground. The telescopic boom typically has 5 sections with a pentagonal cross-section, made from high-strength manganese steel for both rigidity and light weight. All movements (travel, telescoping, hoisting, slewing, and outrigger adjustment) are hydraulically driven, providing smooth and precise operation.
5 Advantages of the YG Spider Crawler Crane
Dual Power – Diesel and Electric, Adaptable to Various Working Conditions
The YG mobile spider crane comes standard with a dualpower system (diesel engine and electric motor). The diesel engine delivers strong power, while the electric motor ensures smooth operation. For indoor or environmentally sensitive sites, a fully electric version is available on request, featuring zero emissions and low noise – perfectly suited for enclosed spaces like shopping malls, airports, and exhibition halls.
Compact Size – Designed for Tight Spaces
The YG3 has a transport width of only 980 mm, allowing it to pass through standard single doors. The YG5 and YG8 are 1,500–1,600 mm wide and can easily access most construction sites and factory buildings. Unlike conventional cranes that require large outrigger deployment areas, the spider crane’s four hydraulic outriggers can be flexibly angled within narrow spaces, providing stable support while minimising the working footprint.
Rubber Tracks – Protect Floors and Surfaces
Unlike wheeled cranes, the spider crawler crane uses wearresistant rubber tracks that exert very low ground pressure. Whether on indoor marble floors, epoxy resin coatings, or outdoor lawns and brick pavements, it can travel directly without causing damage. This is especially important for installation or maintenance work in already finished premises.
Wireless Remote Control – OnePerson Operation
The YG mobile spider crane is equipped with a wireless remote control, allowing the operator to stand at the best viewing position and remotely control boom telescoping, hoisting, slewing, and travel. A single person can complete the entire lifting process, improving efficiency and ensuring safety – the operator can move to a safe zone at any time.
Reinforced Manganese Steel Boom – High Load Capacity
The boom is made of highstrength manganese steel, optimised through finite element analysis and structural design to combine light weight with excellent rigidity and toughness. The 5section pentagonal telescopic boom extends smoothly, offers high torsional resistance, and has a long service life.
Frequently Asked Questions about Mobile Spider Cranes
Which models of small spider cranes can be fitted with a jib?
All YG models of 3 tonnes and above (YG3, YG5, and YG8) support the installation of a jib (fly jib). A jib is a detachable boom extension mounted at the tip of the main boom to further increase reach and expand lifting angles. When obstacles such as walls or roof edges must be cleared, or when lifting at specific angles is required, the jib significantly enhances operational flexibility and coverage.
What is the main purpose of the jib?
The jib serves two core functions: first, extending the working radius – it adds an extra section beyond the fully extended main boom, allowing the hook to reach farther positions; second, expanding lifting angles – by adjusting the jib’s deflection angle, precise lifting can be performed behind or to the side of obstacles. In short, the jib transforms the crane’s working range from “straightline extension” to “multiangle coverage.”
Can a glass suction cup be directly mounted to the jib?
Yes. The jib tip of the YG spider crawler crane has standard mounting interfaces, so glass suction cups can be directly attached. This is highly practical for glass curtain wall installation and exterior work on highrise buildings, offering flexible and safe operation.
Can the spider crawler crane be made fully electric?
Yes. The YG spider crane comes standard with dual power, but a fully electric version can be customised upon request. The allelectric spider crane uses battery packs to power the travel and hydraulic systems, producing zero emissions and low noise – particularly suitable for enclosed indoor spaces, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, and other sites with strict environmental and noise requirements.
Is the mobile spider crane easy to transport?
The YG3 has a total weight of only 2,700 kg and dimensions of 2,950 × 980 × 1,560 mm, allowing it to be loaded into a standard shipping container or transported on a small flatbed truck. Although the YG5 and YG8 are larger, their overall dimensions remain compact, and they can be moved on ordinary flatbed trailers. The rubber tracks also mean that loading and unloading will not damage the truck bed.
