Case 1: Granite Quarry in Alentejo

Customer needs

• The quarry’s crushing and screening station generated heavy dust, and during the dry season the dust spread to nearby villages, resulting in multiple complaints from residents.
• Portugal’s environmental agency (APA) required the company to control fugitive dust emissions, and the customer needed a practical solution.
• Summer water use was restricted, so the customer did not want to rely on a large number of workers manually holding hoses for spraying.

YG solution
Based on the dust generation range of the crushing station, YG recommended the YG-40 model dust control water cannon: 40m range, 16 nozzles, water consumption 3000L/h. It was fixed next to the crusher, with 360° rotation covering the feed inlet, crusher, and belt transfer points, equipped with a 460L water tank connected to the on-site water supply.

Case process
In the first round of communication, the customer cared most about three things: whether the equipment had CE certification, whether the 380V/50Hz power supply matched the Portuguese grid, and how after-sales spare parts would be supplied. After YG provided the CE certificate, circuit diagrams, and a spare parts list, both parties confirmed the site conditions through a video meeting, and the customer signed the contract within one week. Customer needs
